Foodspotting Is Coming To Miami!

February 5, 2013

I know what you're thinking, “Ñooo ANOTHER App?!” Pero this app is strictly for us food lovers. Foodspotting started out in California in 2009 and it acts almost like an instagram and gps for delicious food wherever you may be. Since it's inception, the app has gone global with a total of 140 communities worldwide. Some of the Foodspotting cities include Madrid, Sydney, Paris and Tokyo. It's a positive app, you only share the stuff you loved and would suggest to friends, this isn't the app where you complain or bitch about the the crappy waiter that didn't give you extra ranch dressing. The app is FREE and is available to both Apple and Android users. And if you're too lazy to upload your pictures to the app, you can link your instagram account and upload them through instagram using the hashtag #foodspotting.

As in most food trends, Miami is completely behind the curve on this app. Now I know there are indeed a few people out there that have the app, perhaps use it consistently. I've also heard of a lot of people stating that they stopped using it because no one was on it. Even Orlando has a budding Foodspotting community. The Foodspotting community up in Orlando is actually led by the Orlando blogger, Droolius. Thanks to him and his help, I've set up the Foodspotting Eatup in Miami going down TOMORROW, February 6, 2013 at Pincho Factory from 7pm-9pm!

  1. Miami Beach has so many restaurants and tons of attractions. It is hard to figure out which things to do and places to dine at are good.
