The Local Teams Up With Sixpoint Brewery For A Boozy Brunch

The Local has had a fuck-ton lot of changes since my post about them 4 years ago. Their executive chef is now Phil Bryant, formerly of Swine Southern Table & Bar, and the menu is completely different (expect a blogpost on their food later on). For now, I'm filling you in on a kick ass event they host every month. It's the Roast & Toast Boozin’ Brunch Series and every month they invite an outsider to team up with them to offer a kick-ass brunch. This month they're teaming up with Sixpoint Brewery out of NYC to offer a beer paired, four course brunch on Sunday, June 7th, 2015 at noon.
Brunch will start with a welcome cocktail and the menu will look something like this:
 1st Course
Smoked Florida Sturgeon Tartare
Potato pancakes, apple, half sour pickles, malted cream cheese
Sweet Action

2nd Course
Redneck Penicillin
Pulled hen, matzo dumplin’s, roasted carrots, bourbon broth + chopped liver dirty rice
Jammer Gose

3rd Course

Beef Pastrami Benedict
Poached eggs, Zak the Baker Rye, grilled cabbage, + hollandaise
Barrel Aged SIGNAL Smoked IPA

4th Course
Rugelach + hamantaschen with Homestead Honey Ice Cream, and peach preserves
The Crisp

So the brunch will set you back $60 per person, but keep in mind you'll be getting 4 rounds of beer, a cocktail and four dishes of great food. The price is exclusive of tax and gratuity.
