There are two ways to enter the scholarship sweepstakes:
- Entering a product code on its microsite: http://coke.com/forthedream
- Posting a selfie on Twitter or Instagram with someone who is helping you achieve your college dreams, and hashtagging it #ForTheDreamSweeps.
Had it not been for scholarships and federal grants, I never would have been able to attend college. I remember spending countless nights filling out applications and writing essays for scholarships. Being a Hispanic female from a single parent home made it financially impossible to attend any of the Ivy League or private schools I was accepted to. Thankfully, between the scholarships I earned and won I was able to attend a local university and graduated with honors. So having the opportunity to share the information on this scholarship program is a small way of paying it forward. In addition to spreading the information on this scholarship, I'm giving away a Coca-Cola Summer Prize Pack that features a logo cooler bag, sunglasses, Mason Jar tumbler and a visor. As usual, use the Rafflecopter widget below to enter. Winner will be notified by email and social media and will have 24 hours to respond with shipping information. Giveaway ends Monday, August 3, 2015

Education matters to me because it is important to reach and achieve goals and dreams. I want my kids to know that they can do anything.

ReplyDeleteThe pluses of higher education are numerous, especially the confidence it should give and the belief that with their schooling they can change the world. A world where it isn't a surprise to see a Hispanic in a high power high profile position.
ReplyDeleteWithout education there is no growth for society in general.
